3D Viewer

The Magma platform provides a fully interactive 3D Viewer that allows stakeholders to explore their building in detail. You can access it by clicking on 3D Mode. This tool enables you to navigate the building visually, inspect objects, input dqtqm and interact with the digital twin for enhanced management and operational oversight.

Key Features

  1. Search Functionality

The 3D Viewer includes a search feature that allows you to query object metadata such as serial numbers, identifiers, or other attributes.

  1. Notifications

The notifications tab keeps stakeholders updated on the latest activity related to the building model. This may include changes to object metadata or document, ensuring that all stakeholders stay informed.

  1. Tasks

The Tasks Tab helps stakeholders track and manage their assigned tasks. By clicking on the Tasks Tab, you can see a list of tasks that require your attention.

When you click on a specific task, the associated object in the 3D model is highlighted, and its information panel opens on the right side of the screen. From there, you can review the object’s details and either validate or reject the related data, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information within the Digital Twin.

  1. Models

Models tab allows users to view and manage the 3D models uploaded to the platform. Only specific user can upload models: owner, asset manager, architect, structural engineer.

Magma accepts all IFC model types, from structure to interior design.

  1. Scene Explorer

The Scene Explorer provides a detailed view of each 3D model, allowing users to dive into individual components of the building. You can explore the model’s hierarchy, filter and isolate specific components for closer inspection.

  1. Stakeholders

In this tab you can see which stakeholders currently have permission to explore the digital twin.

From here, the Owner and Asset Manager can manage permissions and remove access for specific stakeholders.

  1. Measure mode

The Measure Mode enables users to take precise measurements.

  1. View mode

The View Mode allows users to change how the digital twin is rendered for better visualization and analysis.

  1. Views

The Views feature allows users to quickly change the perspective from which they are observing the 3D. You can select predefined views such as top, back, front, right or left.

  1. Controls

The Viewer includes a few advanced features to enhance model exploration:

  • Explode Model: This feature separates the elements of the digital twin, allowing you to see individual components in detail while maintaining their spatial relationships. It’s useful for inspecting complex structures and understanding how different parts interact.

  • Projection Settings: Users can adjust the projection type to view the model in different visual formats.

  • Orbiting Parameters: You can modify orbiting settings to control how the camera moves around the model.
