6. Mint the DTT®

Only the Owner and the Asset Manager have the ability to mint a DTT®. To do so, navigate to the Minting tab. A DTT® can only be minted once data has been validated or updated.

Minting the DTT® involves hashing the data and sending the resulting encrypted hash on-chain, ensuring full traceability and immutability of the information. Please note that minting is irreversible.

During the minting process, all data contributors (stakeholders) are rewarded with Merit Tokens (MRT). Tokens are sent directly from the Building Wallet to each contributor’s wallet.

From the Minting tab, you can also:

• See how each Magma Index level will increase after minting

• Access the full details of all data that will be attached to the DTT®

By clicking on the unique ID, you can open the DTT® Explorer, which provides a preview of all the data that has been hashed and attached to the DTT® over time.

In the Rewards tab, you can see a detailed history of all stakeholder rewards. For each stakeholder, it shows how many tokens they received, when the reward was granted, and which action earned it.

In the Contributions tab, you can view each data entry’s reward value in tokens distributed to its contributors. You can also review its Magma Index score. The index for each data item is determined by the uploader, and the validators of the data. The more a data is uploaded, validated, and recommended by relevant stakeholders, the higher its index score and its weight on the overall Magma Index.
